Prezi

It is a tool that can replace our old Powerpoint presentations.
The site is http://prezi.com. You must sign up before making your presentations.
This is an example of what can be done with this tool:

It's awesome!

A fast way to create cartoons

If you want to create and share comic strips with your students you should visit this site:  http://www.toondoo.com/ .
It's very easy to use and I'm sure the kids will love it.

Voice thread

This is a tool that lets you create collaborative presentations by collecting comments - both text and voice. It's very useful for English teaching because students can choose a picture and describe it by recording their voices. It's easy to use and very funny.

The site is https://voicethread.com.

I hope you enjoy it.

Mind Map

Another useful site recommended in the course I'm taking is https://bubbl.us/.
In this site students can create mind maps. We can ask them to categorize new vocabulary, summarize a text they've read, make an oral presentation, organize their ideas to write an essay, etc.
Here is an example:

Interesting sites to create an avatar and practice English at the same time

Today I had a class about the use of technology in the classroom and the teacher recommended some interesting sites. The students can create their avatar and practice English at the same time. It's awesome!

Check the sites and my avatars!

Students in Space

My students from the 5th Year and I have read the book "Students in Space". After reading it and correcting the exercises, we have developed a nice project in the school's lab. The students had to rewrite their own story using a powerpoint presentation.

Check one of my students' work:
