QRcode

Qrcode, which stands for "Quick Response“, is a 2D barcode that can be scanned by most cell phones that have camera, the iPad or tablets to quickly convey information to the devices. I usually use it to share with my studentsparents some projects we make in our classes.  Here is a link to an e-book I've made with my third graders and the QRcode I've sent via agenda.

Stop motion

Stop Motion is an animation technique used with features of a camera or an ipad. They use real models in various materials, such as photos, clay, toys, wooden objects, etc. The models are moved and photographed frame by frame. These frames are then transformed into video, creating the impression of movement. At this stage, sound effects can be added, such as speech or music. Here is a project I’ve made with my first graders after working with the song “I have a pet” (Super Simple Songs) . The kids have done everything by themselves. They have learned a lot and had lots of fun!

English speaking countries

It is common sense nowadays that teaching English should not involve only teaching speaking, listening, reading and writing skills but also teaching new cultures. My students love learning about English speaking countries and there are many interesting sites to explore it. We usually practice some songs and play some online games! They learn and have a lot of fun! Visit the sites to check them out!
