Qrcode, which
stands for "Quick Response“, is a
2D barcode that can be scanned by most cell phones that have camera, the iPad or tablets to quickly convey information to the devices. I
usually use it to share with my students’
parents some projects
we
make
in our
classes. Here is a link to an e-book I've made with my third graders and the QRcode I've sent via agenda.

Stop motion
Stop Motion is
an animation technique used with features of a camera or an ipad. They use real
models in various materials, such as photos, clay, toys, wooden objects, etc.
The models are moved and photographed frame by frame. These frames are then
transformed into video, creating the impression of movement. At this stage,
sound effects can be added, such as speech or music. Here is a project I’ve
made with my first graders after working with the song “I have a pet” (Super Simple Songs) . The kids
have done everything by themselves. They have learned a lot and had lots of
fun!

English speaking countries
It is common sense nowadays that teaching English should not involve only teaching speaking, listening, reading and writing skills but also teaching new cultures. My students love learning about English speaking countries and there are many interesting sites to explore it. We usually practice some songs and play some online games! They learn and have a lot of fun! Visit the sites to check them out!

Guessing Game
The use of technology in the classroom is very important because students can not only practice English but also have fun. A project my third graders love is the Guessing Game. After learning how to describe animals they are asked to choose an animal and prepare a PowerPoint presentation about it. They can not write the name of the animal because they are going to present their work to the class and invite a classmate to guess the animal. They love PowerPoint presentations, especially the animations. Download an example and check it out!
Practice English through songs
There are many sites to pratice English through songs. The ones I like most are Lyrics Training and Rebeats. These sites are very popular because the students can fill in the lyrics of their favourite songs. They are very interactive and funny.
TinyTap
TinyTap is a very interesting social platform we can use to create educational activities such as games, puzzles, quizes, e-books, classroom activities, etc.
I have already created some games and it is very simple. The students can play on the computer or use their iPads.

KAHOOT
Kahoot is a site where you can create and play games for any subject. If you want to create a game, you have to visit the site https://getkahoot.com/ but your students must visit the site https://kahoot.it/#/ to play the game. It's pretty simple and funny.
My students love it! I have just created a game to review with my second grade students what we studied in the first semester. I hope you can use it.

Autumn Colours
Today I've discussed with my students what happens to the leaves when it's spring and when it's autumn. They've noticed their colours are different and they've learned a lot about colours and seasons. We've made a leaf collage and we've learned some songs. It was really fun!!
